The easiest way to test a cable is to replace it with another cable. Be sure to check your SATA cables are tightly connected to the SATA port connection. Serial ATA cables, in particular, can sometimes fall out of their connection. The BIOS will not detect a hard disk if the data cable is damaged or the connection is incorrect. Here are some images of Serial ATA cables. For further information, please see Document ID: 182453. For SATA cables, Seagate recommends using cables shorter than 39.37 inches (1 metre). When in doubt of data cable condition, replace it. Folding, crimping, pinching, or creasing data cables can cause the wires to break inside the insulation, leaving the exterior of the cable looking normal. Always inspect the motherboard and hard disk connections for bent or misaligned pins. I can't find anything in the BIOS about enabling the UEFI boot, so I am stuck.Note: These drivers do not come from Seagate they come from the motherboard manufacturer. Also, when I disable RAID and set back to stock, the hard drives are listed as "P1:xxxxxxx" and "P2:xxxxxxx" (Actually only one is listed in the boot menu then there is a setting to choose which to use as a boot drive and they are both listed there). 
When I look in the boot devices, there is my DVD drive which is listed with the "UEFI:" prefix, but my RAID setup is not listed with the UEFI prefix. I am not entirely sure, but I figure this is an issue with my Biostar TA990FXE motherboard not booting in UEFI. I let this sit for about half an hour hopeful that something would happen, but nothing did.
It then installed, however, after it restarted when it was done installing the files, it went to a blank black screen with a flashing underscore on it. I know that in order to have hard drives that are larger than 2.19TB, you have to use GPT instead of MBR, so I went to install Windows 8 off of my DVD drive and in the BIOS for the DVD drive it was listed as "UEFI:xxxxxxx" and when I tried performing a custom Windows install, it game me an error saying that I cannot install to that drive (my 4TB RAID) since it was MBR partition, so I opened up the command prompt and used diskpart to change it to GPT. Well, I have am running a RAID0 setup between two 2TB hard drives.
